Hello lovely readers!

I'm Ashley from Hudson's Happenings. 

I am so happy to be guest posting here today on Mariel's beautiful blog! 

She is one of my most favorite people in this great big blogosphere....

I think she's gorgeous on the outside and inside! I know you all agree.

I live in Alabama, and lately, we have been enjoying unseasonably warm temperatures.

(which I'm absolutely ecstatic about!)

As the last days of February dwindle away,

I find myself dreaming about Spring.

Packing Away

Darlings,

It's official.

In just eight days I'll be saying goodbye to the place that I've 

called home for these last four years...

College. 

I'll be heading to Chicago to start my clinical rotations and I'll

only make my way back here for graduation in August.

I started packing yesterday.

It's crazy how almost half of my possessions consists of textbooks and lecture portfolios.

Maybe in a couple of years it'll consist of more varied things.

Well, here is to surviving these next week of finals.

Pray for me!

There is only one word I can use to describe this last weekend...

PERFECT.

That's always the word that defines my time with Sean.

After not seeing each other for almost two months you can imagine

our excitement to be able to spend three whole days together.

Every day was filled with the most wonderful moments,

and when it was time to say goodbye I felt as if a part

of me was leaving with him. 

Whoever said goodbyes get easier with time did not know 

what they were talking about.

Well, at least this time we'll only have to wait two weeks to see 

each other again.

This is how I'll spend my day... 

After studying nonstop for the last three nights

all I want is to curl up in bed with my delicious 

strawberry cupcake

AND 

to be with this handsome man.

Unfortunately, I'll have to wait for the latter one

for a couple more days.

Today in church I was reminded of the 11th commandment... 

One, that if lived by all, would bring so much peace to this world.

During this Valentine's Day weekend (and every day from now on) 

let's keep in our hearts and minds the most beautiful

well, I wouldn't say "obsession".

I just really like 'em.

I swear there is some color in 

my room/closet.

Bipolar Weather

Darlings,

Michigan is absolutely cray cray. 

At least, its weather is.

Just a couple of weeks ago I though I was 

in the midst of another ice-age and now

I'm enjoying temperatures in the mid forties. 

Today is wonderful, don't get me wrong, but it's 

just so confusing. It's getting my hopes up for 

spring and that ain't fair.

For all I know that first picture might repeat itself in 

a couple days... you just watch hehe.
