A Memorial Day in Milwaukee

Darlings,

Today was the most beautiful day. You know the one... perfect ninety degree weather, gelato, car ride with the roof down, a walk on the lake front, and you best friend. Perfect I tell you.  

I hope you, dolls, had a marvelous Memorial Day.

"The Wheels on the Bus Go Round and Round"

Darlings,

Yesterday I rode the bus by myself for the very first time to visit Sean and his family. Here is the thing, it was almost a two hour ride and it had 5 stops along the way, so I'm very proud of myself right now. It was absolutely wonderful (feeling like a big girl that is hehe) and I will most likely do it again soon. The best part was getting out of the bus at my stop and receiving the best welcome from the boyfriend... totally worth it.

Forever 21

Darlings,

Today I turned 21 (hence the sudden inspiration to make 21 cupcakes)! I feel so happy and blessed. It has definitely been an adventure so far and I am ecstatic to see what comes next. The family has definitely spoiled me today, and I am not complaining. Specially when they've done it with lots and lots of chocolate. You dolls know what I am talking about.  Here is to many more to come!

It's a Good Day...

Darlings,

Today has started off quite marvelously. First, the sky is as blue as it can be even though it has been raining all weekend and there is rain scheduled for this whole week. Second, my little herb garden is slowly blossoming. Third, today I got to enjoy one of my favorite summer drinks from when I was growing up back in Puerto Rico.  I'm telling you, it's been a pretty good day so far.

Yummy... but I do hear it's an acquired taste hehe

One of my summer projects this year is to scan some of our old family pictures and save them on the external hard drive. That way we can fix the ones that have been damage with time and edit those that the film camera didn't want to play nice with. Well, look at the little treasure I just found...

The Perfect Way to Welcome Summer

Darlings,

Yesterday Sean and I packed a blanket, a bottle of Kristian Regale pear cider, his guitar and my camera, and embarked on our own little adventure. The weather was a bit chilly for May but it was nonetheless gorgeous. It is days like these that make summer my favorite time of the year.

I just love that smile...

Remember this VS commercial? Well, on Thursday the girls and I decided to pay a visit to the location of the shoot, the Milwaukee Art Museum. If you, dolls, are ever in the area I suggest you make this your first stop... it is absolutely STUNNING.
